Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Van Salesman to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a company van, selling products directly to customers, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a company van to designated routes and locations.
  • Sell products directly to customers, ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Manage stock levels, restock van inventory, and ensure proper product display.
  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to improve sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and preferences.
  • Maintain the van in clean and roadworthy condition.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management.
  • Physically fit to load and unload goods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in van sales or route sales.
  • Knowledge of the local market and routes.
