Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Van Salesman to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a company van, selling products directly to customers, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a company van to designated routes and locations.
- Sell products directly to customers, ensuring sales targets are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Manage stock levels, restock van inventory, and ensure proper product display.
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate sales records.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to improve sales strategies.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain the van in clean and roadworthy condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management.
- Physically fit to load and unload goods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in van sales or route sales.
- Knowledge of the local market and routes.
